Lightning with Speech (formerly called Storm) is an integrated combination of the popular Lightning Magnifier and the Thunder Screenreader. Whatever appears on the computer screen can be magnified up to 36 times. It is easy to install and just as easy to use.

Without needing to see the screen you will be able to write letters and documents, hear what you have typed letter by letter or word by word, change the speed and voice, and repeat what you have just heard. It will speak menus and dialog boxes. You will have full speech feedback for most text-based word processing tasks including editing documents in Microsoft Word, WordPad or Notepad.
CD and USB Stick - Lightning with Speech CD version includes 2 British Realspeak voices, Daniel and Emily. Lightning with Speech also includes a special portable USB memory stick version, allowing you to use Lightning with Speech on computers without having to install anything or be an administrator. Just walk up and insert the USB stick to start the program. Lightning with Speech runs directly from the USB stick. Includes a high-quality RealSpeak voice.
